David And Goliath

Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.

When I met the Kendrick brothers, directors of Christian movies like Facing the Giants and War Room, they encouraged me to pursue my dreams like David did. They said, “Start small. David killed a lion and a bear before he killed Goliath.”

They were speaking from experience. As filmmakers, they started out by making short films. They learned how to trust God with those small projects which eventually grew into blockbuster success.
